Dogs Unleashed - 18th to 19th June 2011

Dog owners will love the Dogs Unleashed show held in June at the Bakewell showground. If you’re taking your dog on holiday to the Peaks with you then they can take part in the events including competitions testing agility plus flyball, lurcher racing, terrier racing and much more. Ashbourne Festival - 17th June to 3rd July 2011

The Ashbourne Festival is held over two weeks in the middle of summer and features music and arts events which take place across the town. Ashbourne Festival highlights include an art exhibition in Ashbourne Town Hall Ballroom and Streetfest which features a world-class line up of street performers. Dovedale Sheepgog Trials - 23rd to 24th August 2011

The Dovedale Sheepdog Trials gives visitors to the area the chance to experience a real taste of countryside life as you can watch sheepdogs and handlers competing in a range of competitions. Chatsworth County Fair 3rd to 5th September 2011

Chatsworth Country Fair will be celebrating its 30th year this September and the event is a great way to round off summer in the Peak District. Visitors can take part in or watch a range of country attractions including shooting, fly fishing, dog shows, archery, horse driving, highland dancing and much more. The event also includes plenty of shopping opportunities across the 300 plus stands and wine lovers and foodies will enjoy the Fine Food Village.
